We're pleased to advise that we have agreed a reciprocal arrangement with Streatham Ice Hockey Club to allow club members and season ticket holders discounted admission to all regular season home games for the remainder of the 2014-15 season.
Any TMUFC fan that is either a season ticket holder or member of the Members' Club/Supporters Club will be given admission to all Streatham Redskins regular season home games for the discounted price of £5 on production of their card. This includes free admission for accompanied U16s provided they are club members/season ticket holders too (up to a max of 4 per paying adult). Similarly we are making the same offer to Streatham's season ticket holders and supporters club members to allow them to come and see the Terrors at the same discounted price of £5.
So if you've not been to an ice hockey game before (or even if you have), get yourself down to the new ice rink on Streatham High Road on a Sunday evening (or even a Saturday afternoon if Tooting are playing an away game you can't get to). You're guaranteed 2 hours plus of fast and furious action in one of the countries newest and best ice rinks.
Parking is plentiful, either in the purpose built car park at the rear of the ice rink or if you get there early enough, in some of the surrounding side streets. Alternatively travelling by public transport to Streatham High Road is fairly easy too. (If you are travelling from the Morden or Mitcham Town Centre areas then the 118 bus stops virtually right outside the rink. Streatham Railway station is also only 2 minutes walk away).
We are also planning on holding an "open doors" weekend towards the end of the year which would see both clubs offering free admission to each others venues for members and season ticket holders, a weekend we hope that will be supported too by the appearance of one or two Redskins' players at the KNK Stadium on the Saturday and similarly some of the Terrors squad turning up to support the Redskins on the Sunday. Watch this space for further details however in the meantime why not get yourselves down to the rink on Sunday and give the Redskins a cheer?"
