22/2 - Whilst Chase O’Neil was an appropriate scorer of our 100th league goal, the evenings key strike was surely that of Ashley Robinson just seconds before half time. “Deadly”Dan Clements gave Terrors an early lead, but few could argue that Cray were worth their equaliser in a half that was dominated by their big, yet skilful, central spine. However, Robinsons close range net buster must have had a devastating effect (along, no doubt, with a constructive half time team talk) as second half waters seemed much calmer even before O’Neils 51st minute milestone. With the match in the bag the final kick (head in fact) of the game provided “Deadly” with a well deserved second score. Report |
